Institute Mission 

The mission of the ÃÛÌÒ½´Institute for Computational Biosciences is to advance collaborative, multi-disciplinary research at the intersection of data science and the life sciences. The Institute forges strong connections between our faculty and affiliates in industry, government, and nonprofit sectors. 

The Institute fosters access to talented graduate and undergraduate students in our data science programs for collaborative projects, internships, and career development. Through targeted workshops and training opportunities, we support the ongoing development of our industrial affiliates.

Located within the vibrant innovation ecosystem of Pegasus Park, the Institute also incentives research by fostering partnerships with the many life science and biotech companies co-located in the district, creating a dynamic environment for translational research and entrepreneurial collaboration.
