Honor Society
Gamma Kappa Alpha - National Italian Honor Society
The purpose of the Society, as stated in its Constitution, is to:
- Encourage college students to develop a greater interest in and a deeper understanding of Italian culture;
- Honor those who promote friendly relations and mutual respect between the United States (or Canada) and Italy;
- Recognize outstanding academic performance in the field of Italian language and literature.
Requirements:
- Minimum overall GPA 3.0;
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 in Italian courses;
- Administrative fee of $40.00, which covers the cost of initiation, cord, and certificate
