Assisted Listening System
McFarlin Memorial Auditorium is proud to offer enhanced audio features through Listen Technologies Auri Assisted Listening System with Auracast. Patrons may experience the show with personal amplified sound quality via ALS receiver and headset. ALS receivers work at any seating location in the venue. Patrons with hearing aids or a cochlear implant with a T-Switch/telecoil have the option of requesting the use of a Neck-loop device to connect with the ALS.
To request your ALS receiver, please contact the McFarlin Management office at 214-768-6400 or mcfarlin@smu.edu. Receivers are available to check out for free on a first-come, first-serve basis. To pick up your receiver, please visit the Box Office in the Main Lobby. Patrons will need to provide their name and contact information.
ADA Accessibility
McFarlin Memorial Auditorium has an ADA accessible entrance on the southeast corner of the building, to the left of the main entrance. The building is equipped with an accessible restroom and two elevators to access each floor. Accessibility to your seat varies on seat location.
